Register for the
Gordon Bennett Rally
We are happy to announce details of the
2020 IVVCC International Gordon Bennett Rally
on Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June.
In 2020 all entrants will have the opportunity to decide if they wish to take part in the Sporting aspect of the event or feel that a Touring aspect (without regularity sections) is more suitable for them. Therefore, please indicate on the form which one you prefer. Competitors on the Touring Route will not be eligible for Overall Awards but will be eligible for Class Awards. In keeping with the spirit of the event and in order to discourage the use of distance recording equipment, a penalty will be imposed on anyone using this type of equipment.
In order to REGISTER,
please complete the online form on the left,
or if you prefer you can download a PDF below.

Again, this year, we are based at the Mount Wolseley Hotel, Tullow, Co Carlow and we are delighted to announce that Frank Hussey, as Clerk of the Course and his team, assisted by Ian McCulloch and his enhanced team are already very advanced in their plans for 2020.
The rally will start on Friday 5th at 12.30pm with our welcome lunch, sponsored by our main supporter Barrett Private Insurances/Chubb European Group Limited. On Friday evening we will hold our Buffet Supper and Drinks Reception in Mount Wolseley, sponsored by Bonhams.
Registration will commence on Saturday 6th at 7.30am, in Mount Wolseley and all cars should be away from the starting area by 10.30am. Whilst this is an event, which appeals to the keen competitor with regularity sections, it is also a very social event with opportunities to experience some early summer scenery and social occasions at the designated lunch stop before returning to Mount Wolseley in the late afternoon. Since the introduction of the electronic recording system in 2013 many more entrants are rising to the competitive challenge each year!!
Our Gala Dinner on Saturday night is always a very popular evening and an opportunity to see the worthy prizewinners and share anecdotes from the Rally.
Sunday morning will be a relaxed opportunity to again meet up and following a short drive, the rally will conclude with a welcome refreshment break which will allow people make their homeward journey in good time for ferries or to continue to their homes or extend their holiday in Ireland.
Our allocation of rooms in Mount Wolseley will be managed by a coding system and once the entry form is received the entrant will be given a specific code. This will be used by the entrant to contact Mount Wolseley directly to book the required accommodation. Therefore, early entry is recommended.
