The IVVCC is pleased to announce details of the 7th Brass Brigade Run for veteran car owners with historic cars pre-1919. As many of you will already be aware, our Clerk of the Course for our 2020 event is Kevin Herron who has designed a very special event which should appeal to all brass car owners.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September in the award winning 5-Star Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny. It is returning to the old format enjoyed by many in Dungarvan in previous years. The event is being sponsored by Barrett Private Insurances/Chubb insurance. The entry fee is €95 per person based on two people sharing (€190) either a double or twin room. Entry fee also includes breakfast, dinner on Saturday evening, route book, rally numberplate, coffee stop on the Sunday Run and a farewell lunch on Sunday afternoon in Lyrath.
With the extreme good value that this represents we are limiting the event to the FIRST 50 ENTRIES received by Friday 24th July. It would be great to see you in Kilkenny with your brass car.
EARLY REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED AS THERE IS A LIMITED NUMBER OF ROOMS AVAILABLE IN OUR ALLOCATION.
Members and Affiliate Members in the nearby counties may join the event on Sunday morning, registering between 8.30am and 9.30am, at a cost of €75 for driver and passenger to include event entry, coffee break on the route and lunch at the Clonmel Park Hotel.
IMPORTANT: This Run is a pre-registration event and it will not be possible to enter on the day.
THE START: Registration is open from 4pm to 5pm on Saturday afternoon in the hotel lobby.
On Sunday morning the Run itself starts at 9.30am sharp from Lyrath House Hotel.
THE CLASSES: Only Veteran Cars (pre-1919 are eligible to enter).
